Already on national retail shelves
Our products are currently sold through four national retail chains in Colombia: Éxito, Carulla, Alkosto and Super Inter.
For an international buyer this is the practical part: supplying national retail means fixed formats, repeat volume and a presentation that has to be the same every run.

A charcoal factory in the Colombian coffee region
Carbón Nuevo Futuro S.A.S. was founded in 2012 and works from Armenia and Filandia, in the department of Quindío. We make hardwood lump charcoal and the fire-starting products that go with it, and we have spent those years supplying a domestic market that expects the same bag to behave the same way every time.
John's Charcoal is the international brand of that same company. Same factory, same people, presented for buyers outside Colombia.
- Founded 2012
- Armenia & Filandia, Quindío, Colombia

- Distributed through national retail chains in Colombia
Four plain reasons
- 01
You buy from the manufacturer, not a trader
Carbón Nuevo Futuro S.A.S. produces the charcoal it sells. Specifications, packaging and commercial terms are decided by the people who run the production, so there is no intermediary interpreting your requirements.
- 02
Renewable planted sourcing
100% hardwood charcoal — no binders, no additives.
100% renewable plantation sourcing — acacia and coffee-sector timber, never native forest.
Our raw material comes from renewable planted timber and wood material from the coffee-growing sector, rather than native forest. We describe this as our sourcing practice, not as a certified claim.
- 03
Production built for retail shelves
Our references have been produced for Colombian retail, which means consistent bag formats, consistent presentation and a production routine already used to repeat orders.
- 04
One commercial contact for international buyers
International enquiries are handled directly, in English or Spanish, by the same people who answer for the factory. No ticket queue, no reseller in between.
Quindío, Colombia
Quindío is a small, intensively worked agricultural department in central Colombia. The land around Armenia and Filandia is planted, pruned and replanted on a cycle, and that steady supply of timber is what makes charcoal production here practical rather than extractive.
We source renewable planted timber, including acacia, together with wood material from the coffee-growing sector. It is a sourcing practice, described here exactly as it works — not a certification.
