Made in Quindío
We are the factory, not a trading office. Charcoal, kindling and fire starters are produced and packed at our own sites in Armenia and Filandia, in central Colombia.
Armenia and Filandia, Quindío
Quindío is one of Colombia's smallest departments and one of its most intensively worked. The land around Armenia and Filandia is farmed, planted and replanted on a cycle rather than left standing, and there is a steady flow of timber and wood material coming out of that activity.
Being in the middle of it matters commercially: the raw material, the production and the packing are close together, which is what keeps a fixed retail format repeatable.
Planted timber, not native forest
Our material is renewable planted timber, including acacia, together with wood material that comes out of the coffee-growing sector. Native forest is not our raw material.
The finished charcoal is 100% wood charcoal — nothing is added to it: no binders, no additives, no fillers.
We describe this as our sourcing practice, in plain terms, and not as a certified claim. More on sourcing.
What we will confirm, and what we will not guess at
We convert that timber into charcoal and pack it into the retail formats we sell — the 2 kg and 4 kg bags, the premium references, and the kindling and fire starters that go with them.
The table opposite is deliberately incomplete. Rather than publish figures we have not confirmed, we answer them directly on enquiry, in writing.

Built around fixed retail formats
Our production is organised around fixed bag formats for the Colombian retail market. The same reference is produced and packed the same way each run, which is the habit an international buyer is really buying into.
Confirmed per order
Export packing configuration — how the cases are built, palletised and loaded — is confirmed per order, against the destination and the volume. We do not publish a standard configuration that may not hold for your market.
